We’re Your Creative Team
Chasing Brunch was founded by Ben Laud and Erin Kayvedo after years of collaborating on personal projects and freelance. Their constant need to challenge themselves—and each other—along with their varied skill sets, make this duo a creative powerhouse.
Taking what they learned from their university experiences, mentors, agency work, and individual freelance projects, they formed Chasing Brunch as a creative studio in order to create work as unique as they were.
Fueled by good booze, great friends, and amazing opportunities, Ben and Erin opened up shop in September of 2018 in the city where it all began – Providence, Rhode Island.
The Devil Writes jQuery
Ben uses colors, shapes, and code to bring ideas to life. In the past, he’s been called a graphic designer, front-end developer, creative director, and possible mad scientist. He specializes in crafting bold and experimental solutions at the cross section of visual design and technology.
Ben is an ENFP, using his little spark of madness to see possibilities where others see obstacles.
How They Met.
Ben will say he met Erin in a design class in their freshman year of college, but due to Erin’s short attention span and lack of spatial awareness, Erin only knew who Ben was six months later.

Jack of All Trades. Master of Some.
Erin Kayvedo is a self-proclaimed jack of all trades, master of some. Her innate curiosity about anything and everything has led her to — both literally and metaphorically — take apart each of her interests to get to the core of its foundation. Leveraging a deep understanding of typography, Erin specializes in custom type and hand-lettering. However, she also has a passion for data, and loves to build and direct complex, impactful, user experiences. Currently on a never-ending journey to try it all, Erin can be found in her free time riding her longboard, practicing lettering, or feeding her sourdough starter, Audrey II.
Erin is an ENTP, focusing on developing solutions to diverse technical problems.
How They Met.
Erin once spent an entire afternoon brainstorming concepts and prototyping bookbinding methods for a design class with a complete stranger when she was a freshman in college. Realizing their skillsets complimented each other, the pair continued to collaborate on projects — both freelance and personal until they opened a creative studio together years later. That stranger was Ben.
